I got a blown engine in a L245DT and was wondering if the engine from a L245 would just drop right in?
I have a L245dt and am looking for a newer motor that I can use instead of the dh1101-a, Any suggestions? It will work, you just have to swap the oil pans. The L245DT has a place for the front drive line to pass through and bolts up to the front axle. I have done it if you have any questions.
None of the newer engines will just bolt up, not even with a little tweaking.I have a L245dt and am looking for a newer motor that I can use instead of the dh1101-a, Any suggestions?
How many of the older L series will just bolt up? L185,225, 275?None of the newer engines will just bolt up, not even with a little tweaking.
And when I say newer, I mean one version newer.
There is 1 tractor that used the D1101, a L2201 (grey market). How many of the older L series will just bolt up? L185,225, 275?
It is completely rebuilt and also parts machined by a reputable shop. Very frustrated at this point. It just sits there. Every time It wants to siphon fluid from the block and put it in the oil. There is 1 tractor that used the D1101, a L2201 (grey market).
There might or might not have been other equipment that used that engine, but it's hard to tell.
Good thing is all the rebuild parts for the D1101 are still available.
So you could rebuild yours.
