While doing an oil change and lube yesterday I ran my hand along the rear fender. I was surprised to see feel the paint on the under side edge is separating. The I got down and looked it over. Both sides are the same. I think I bought my tractor new in May of 2013. I don't drive it in the salt. Just here in my driveway and field and property. I've seen other Kubota's 20 yr old with perfect paint. Has anyone else see this ? Or anyone with my year L3800. I always keep my tractor under cover. Its set out in the rain once I think. I'll be contacting Kubota about this.
I tried to upload a photo from my camera but the OTT says the photo is to big. Odd.

I have 5 Kubotas, including one bought new in 1993, and have not seen your problem. That said, Kubota is not known for good paint.

You will get no satisfaction from Kubota regarding cosmetic issues on a 2013 machine.

If you complain loud enough your dealer might contribute to fixing it up, even if Kubota won't do anything officially. Worth considering as a plan B anyway. Encourage the dealer to imagine how it would look if you park it near that dealership with a big sign on it complaining about the crappy paint :D

The lower parts of fenders on some tractors tend to rust out over time (at least the ones I see) so if you are going to the effort of painting, you could consider getting them stripped and galvanised first.

Good luck.
