If those soda bottles don' t do the job you could try a partially inflated soccer or volley ball! Great idea, and cost effective. ;)
I picked up some tennis balls... They aren't large enough. As I was looking for a slightly larger, inflatable ball I walked past the bottles and figured "why not?" I am going to grab something like this for a more permanent solution. I believe this is a "gaga" ball.

Looking for a solution - my 1 month old L4060 HSTC has the standard (non air) seat, and when I sit in it, the seat bottoms out. I'm 6'5" 265lbs.

It's annoying from a variety of standpoints, but mostly from the fact that I'm not sitting up high enough to have adequate leg room. I can operate the machine this way, but it isn't comfortable for long stints.

My previous Kubota MX4800 and L2501 had no issues with their seats supporting me.

Anyone found a solution aside from springing for the $1000 air seat?

Thanks in advance
Replaced Seat on L4701 with similar as OEM but little higher back and arm rest Tractor Seats. Com wasn’t to expensive couple hundred bucks not huge improvement but some I didn’t want to spend 1k on air ride seat !!

Sure... that’s about as far back as I could get them at their existing pressure. Which I did not adjust from the store.

They definitely made a difference. Seat only drops about an inch when I sit but there is still plenty of give in it to act as suspension. I couldn’t bottom it out at all.

Well, approx 3 hours on the tractor since cramming those balls in there and so far so good. The additional height is nice and my hips dont cramp up anymore. I can turn the seat with enough knee room to make the feature pleasant.

Thats a good idea. I may try that if the balls fail.

Ive probably got 15 hours on them so far and they are holding up fine.

I got these today and installed the largest one at the back of the seat behind the gas shock. I ran the filling bulb out the back to allow for adjusting if needed. First time since purchasing the tractor the seat didn't bottom out and maintained desirable ride height. Longevity of bag yet to be determined.

I have come to be very pleased with the air ride seat. Wish had ordered with the air ride seat to begin with.

Like the tricks some of you have used with balls, bottles and the air bags. Now to get the attention of a friend place a dog squeeze toy or two in their seat.

I'm the OP, now with about 300 hours on the tractor and still suffering with the original seat that bottoms out every time I sit in it, lol.

Where did you get those basket balls? Do you know what size they are? Also the black fasteners that hood the skirt up on the seat. what’s the best way to take those out?
I got them from Dicks Sporting Goods. Any sporting goods store would likely sell them. They are probably 4" in diameter.... Give or take.

IIRC, they just pop out. I cant remember if they are plastic rivets or just push pins.

I just purchased a Kubota L3560 HSTC with delux cab and found myself on this board with the same seat issue, in taking the time to share here we go. Attached I provided my version of temporary solution in the form of what may have ended up as 3 pool noodles from dollar general made of foam stacked and tight as possible packed between the suspension vertical arms. After mounting as a 330lb guy I noe only sink 2 inchs approximatley and remain in a stable operating position of comfort, bottoming out not possible. I understand the foam will inevitabley compact or degrade thus temporary, in contrast compared to the tennis balls i find it very accessible, cheap, and i can pack two more in when the room becomes available. In the next two weeks I am ordering some trampoline springs testing to replace the stock springs and share finding but it will not be a solution to the shock absorber...when I find a replacement of appropriate dimension I will share in a follow up. Their areblimited components that will chew the foam and on the concept of a normal seat it came to mind for testing. When you do ride over rough terrain it gives an inch or two making a more firm but higher maintainable seat position for anyone 6'1" and above

How about going to an upholstery supply store and getting a chunk of the highest density, stiff foam about 4’ thick? Or spend $75 on a firm temporpedic small pillow?

As luck would have it, I had a Kubota tech at the house today to repair a squeaky seat in a new L4060/cab. During the service visit he said the seats are good up to 225 pounds. I happen to be 250. I bottom out once in awhile but not continuously. I guess there are not to many heavy Japanese.
