Hello, I recently replaced the front engine cover on my Jacobsen gp-400 with a kubota D722-EF03 engine. After removing and reassembling the front cover, installing new throttle and stop solenoid springs, water pump Ect. Now the the engine starts up quickly and idles nicely, but there is no throttle, won’t raise up more than idle. Confirmed springs are connected, just no rpm when the throttle lever is raised to full throttle?. Anybody have a clue what I’m missing?. Nothing simple like a throttle cable not connected. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Not familiar with your machine, but I experienced loss of throttle control on my B7500. The throttle lever moved easily with little to no resistance. I found a spring clip had fallen out of the linkage from the lever to the engine. Mine took a M1.2 clip. I hope your problem is as simple to fix.

Did you remove the injection pump?

Did you remove the injection pump?
Hi, no, I didn’t need to remove the injection pump to remove/replace the front engine cover. Only had to transfer the governor/throttle, pulley, water pump and the the adjustable pin that I’m pointing to in the picture. Is this for the governor/throttle adjustment by chance?.thank you!

Yes that sets either max fuel or max RPM's I would have to look in the WSM and get back to you.

Is the front pin bottomed out?
If so, back it off about half way and try it again.
