Kubota 725z HELP PLEASE

Hi everybody first post here. Anyone know where I attach this purple fuse wire? Bought this mower used. Thank you! Mower dies, needs to be jumped, seems this may be the issue.

you sure that is not "red" and faded? it is running to that fuse, yes?

Have you traced the other end to see where it leads? no pun intended

Looks like a power supply lead imo.

That wire should be connected to the battery cable post on your starter. That is the wire that connects the rectifier/regulator to the battery.

Now it won't even crank over when being jumped.

starter solenoid. It goes on with the wire that comes from the battery.
