Just bought a 2012 - BX25 with 40 hours on it, barely used always garaged. Started and ran fine for a 30 minutes or so of tooling around. Took it on a down hill sloped path, turned a 180 and and started driving it back up hill. Started to bog down and then killed the engine. (had it in high range, oops)
I restart and it runs at idle / low throttle but when I throttle it up it bogs and dies, try this 3 or 4 times same result won't throttle up. (fuel tank is 3/4 full) Then it stops cranking over at all. Turn the key, Dash lights come on, headlamps will turn on, battery seems fine. Turn ignition off, turn it on hear a click but no crank..
Lift up seat, play around with the seat safety switches seem to be working mechanically, not stuck or anything. Move all the levers around and try ignition at various lever positions, still no crank.....
Previous owner says it sat in garage for approx 1 year with full tank, but no use. Thinking the throttle issue is maybe need to bleed air from fuel line?
Thinking the no crank issue is probably a safety interlock switch somewhere, seems there a lot of them..
Ideas?
