Yep.A welder should be able to weld that broken ear. Drill a new hole and reinstall.

Back in '08 I bought a Wrangler with a blown engine and replaced it with a salvage yard engine from a yard near Cabela's. The guy told me it was from a Pontiac. I changed the distributor and flywheel because the Pontiac distributor had a different number of wires.OK I have to figure how to get the pictures on here, they are too large,, I dont know how to make them smaller
BUt there is a number in the casting 10005275 dont know if that means anything, and I may be wrong ,I am thinking this is a Pontiac 4 cylinder
You made me chuckle. Before retiring in 2021 I thought anyone who didn't have a full time job had all sorts of free time. Retirement brought visions of lots of projects, helping others, doing stuff at the church and still being bored sometimes. That's not far off, but there isn't much boredom.Glad she found one.
If it were me, I would have made one from billet aluminum by now.
Not that I'm volunteering for anything!
Hell, I can't find time to make my own stuff these days.![]()
