Injection pump

Alright Wolfman, I have run the tractor for two hours and been moving and leveling dirt for a turnout. When I started hydraulic fluid was at the add mark and the oil was a 1/4”
below full mark, now after the two hours oil is at the full mark and I can’t really see any difference in the hydraulic oil.

It's still sounding like hydraulic to me, I know its frustrating not having an exact answer or conclusive results.
I would do 2 things:
First: Pull the hydraulic pump and replace the seal, if it looks bad there is your culprit.
If it doesn't still replace the seal, it's a cheap fix.
Then try it again, if you get the same result.
Second if it fails again: I would feed the injection pump from a container above the tractor bypassing all the other fuel systems.

How difficult a job is replacing the seal? Does Kubota sell a kit to rebuild it? Thx again

send an engine oil sample off for analysis. That'll tell you exactly what it is. Diesel or hydraulic juice.

Super easy job to do.
Remove one nut, one bolt, and a couple lines.
Pop the pump out pull the E clip than the seal, replace the seal replace seal replace E clip reinstall done.

Or you can put this in the hydraulic oil but you’ll need a uv light and glasses to see it. Probably easier and less costly to just replace the seal as NIW said.
