Thanks for the advice Gonna mention that to my wife as well. She spends all day at work on the computer I'll have to see what my insurance will cover. For work I have to wear safety glasses, which my insurance covers. Most of the time I'm looking down. Occasionally under a piece of equipment if I'm wiring, I am looking up. On those occasions, the neck is hurting anyway I am noticing that to focus on something close, I'm having to shut one eyeDaren, if you spend a lot of time looking at things like equipment from underneath, ask about a second pair of glasses that have the upper part of the lens in focus at 2 to 4 feet, and the bifocal at reading distance. Saves on the neck muscles. They also make good computer glasses.
Thanks for the tip sheepfarmer...they gave me trifocals the last couple times which doesn't make much sense because I take my glasses off to read and put on a normal lens to drive especially the motorcycle. Now sitting at the computer or welding is when I need a lens that's good for 2 to 4 feet, just so happens I'm due for new glasses the first of January.Daren, if you spend a lot of time looking at things like equipment from underneath, ask about a second pair of glasses that have the upper part of the lens in focus at 2 to 4 feet, and the bifocal at reading distance. In Bill's World, that statement would be grounds for a hard punch in the nose or a swift kick in the nuts, with the moron who stated it having no recourse what-so-ever. Sigh. When I called the dealership to let them know, their response was, "I thought it might do that".
