I found something in the driveway

OK I found a pin about 3/8 and maybe 2 inches long, and inthe center is a threaded blind hole. I have to figure it came from either the BX or the 2601. I looked around but I cant see any place it may have dropped out of. When I find things that I cannot place it bothers me,,, big time, any ideas?

Are the threads metric or SAE, that will get you started. If I had to guess it looks like a center pull pivot i.e. on emergency brakes or possibly a threaded pull handle on some type of slide valve. Just my .02

It looks like a ball point pen, most likely black ink. Put it in a drawer and use it next time you need to write something.
