i lost all forward and reverse in my b3030 hst, rear pto ans rear hydraulics dont work. The front hydraulics still work. After lots of searching I found the top of the motor has a blown out area that leaks fluid when i try to use the rear attachments. How big of a fix is this?

Assuming they can get it Messicks wants $1075 for a new top cover. Probably $1500 by the time you add shipping, gaskets, and any other small parts needed. Not a terribly difficult or lengthy job.

Yikes!!! Thats your 3pt lift hydraulic cylinder and not going to be cheap to fix..

I dont see how that would affect movement of the tractor.
It may just be low on fluid now? I’m guessing that a lot of fluid could get pumped out but may be off base on that.

@14Cwater - do you have any idea how that got damaged? Were you transporting something heavy on the three point hitch?

I was actually loading my generator into my truck bed with the front forks when everything stopped working.

Did you have rear ballast on the 3pt? Something was putting pressure on that 3pt piston and it wasnt the loader/forks.

Dan

Dan,

I have a small rake that was on the back. I was doing hurricane clean up. I did just have it serviced and they added alot of hydraulic fluid. Could they have over filled it and created to much pressure?
