Ok, I just found some 3/8 on amazon. 37$ (27usd) for 2, shipping included. I won't need extra fittings.

You lost me with "3FV". I have a 2spool valve hooked up on my 3 hoses that the backhoe would use.

The sproket works when I rotate manually. Didnt weld it on the hub yet. I know it probably wont work well. So I'm gonna look around for shops that sell gears.
3rd Function Valve - See the letters in RED. I speak in acronyms as good as any military spec sheet. That's just a TLA (three letter acronym)

I'm.gonna receive the restrictors on dec 16. I'm being impatient and tempted to try something else in the meantime. I saw some people tapping the inside of a fitting, adding a bolt and then drilling a small hole. Would it be a bad idea to just fill the inside of a fitting with a big ugly weld blob? I'm guessing that if aome particles would break free it could break something.

You can make a restrictor plate by drilling a .030 or .060 hole in a small metal disc then put the plate inside the fitting. I almost suggested that a while back.

The easiest way is like you said. Drill and tap for a pipe plug size and drill a very small hole to start.
Maybe a 1/16".
I have used this method for slowing functions on equipment we sell.
Weld might be hard to drill. Can also have small pieces possibly dislodge b

I made a small disc with a 1/16 hole.

At low throttle it's manageable. At high throttle it's still too fast. The restrictors I ordered will be 1/32 so it should help. My intuition says that adding 2 restrictors instead of just 1 won't make a difference.

Now it doesn't make a difference whether I slap the valve full on or just barely. But that was expected and I understand why.

You are doing a great job. My new blower has the identical chute rotator from the factory and even it rotates faster than I like so I might eventually install a restrictor in the lines as well. I might also say that mine does not rotate all the way and just stops where the teeth stop. Does not seem to cause any issues.

I just received the 1/32 restrictor today.
This is much better. And it doesn't matter if I'm on high or low throttle.
