Took 2 days for me to take this thing apart.
Thank you Mountainman for the advice
After taking the HST out, the mount just dropped. I put the mount (M8 thread it seems) back in to show its original position.

It does look like just corrosion creep in the small crack overtime and propagates.

Hello everyone
I am the new owner of a used bx22d.
Recently I have a leak that worsened over time. I decided to pull the transaxle and found out that one of the HST mount was broken off (left side as indicated with the yellow arrow in the picture below.
My question is:
would jbweld be sufficient?
If not, how difficult is it to pull the case off?
If this is not a DIY job, what's the estimate cost to repair this?
