How to lower front end blower without joystick

B2650. My joystick is broke and won’t raise or lower the front end blower. Can and how do I lower the blower without the joystick?

Thanks. The joystick linkage is broke. It’s completely limp. Any other options?

If your trying to lower an implement to get it off so you can do repairs.
you can crack a line fitting to get the implement to lower.

As far as a way to use it without fixing it, nope there isn't an easy bypass.

Thanks again. What do you mean by crack line fitting. I did release the quick releases on each hydraulic line and the blower still wouldn’t go down.

You will need to slightly open a line connection at either end of the line that connects to the cylinder that lifts the blower.
when you do it will make a mess, as fluid will be release from the cylinder.
I would do the connection at the coupling and put it in a bucket.

Thank you! I’m going to try to fix the joy stick but it’s difficult finding where it’s disconnected or broke. I just have pushed down too hard for float. Not sure.

Thanks for your help! Yes I saw that. May be a bit over my head. Local Kubota dealer is 3-4 weeks out and we are expecting 2-3 feet snow next week.

Most commonly what happens is the linkage loses a pin.
Get a look at it and take some pictures.

Cab or non-cab? They use completely different loader control setups. The cab version uses cables. If that's the case, perhaps the nut fell off the ball stud.

If you do this please wear safety glasses and gloves. There will be some pressure in the line until the blower is on the ground. Don’t unscrew the fitting very much.

Sorry to shout, but protect yourself!

Also, as there's going to be solid pressure backed into the hydraulics just from the weight on the lift cylinder, I would suggest a jack under the blower to at least take most of its weight off so disconnecting the hydraulic couplers isn't so nasty.
If the whole weight can be taken off the cylinder, the cylinder top pin can be removed (cotter pin out first as I recall), and blower frame lowered manually.
