Would anyone know what a BX23s weighs

I am going to take off the BT603 backhoe (607 lbs)

But I can't find out what the loader weighs (in my case it is a pin-on 48" bucket). I am going to take a WAG and say 350 lbs

Tires are NOT filled.

Brochure says 1,570 lbs but I think (almost sure) you have to add the backhoe into the 1570 so a BX23s with the BH would weigh 2,177 less the LA340 pin-on loader

Here’s a link to the la344 loader, would figure it’s fairly similar to the 340?

http://www.kubotabooks.com/AutoInde...nd buckets/&file=LA344, LA344S Loader WSM.pdf

Shows 478 pounds and that may or may not include the bucket, it’s side note isn’t very clear to me if it’s for the quick attach frame or frame an bucket.

What I seen in the kubota brochure was 1570 and I think that’s just bare tractor weight. It’s side note said included grill guard and loader valve which would be optional on the 2380 if order with a loader or not.

Curious as to why you wanting to know?

Just guessing for trailering the tractor?

There's been many guys wanting to figure the same out for trailering their BX25, BX25D, etc. with a trailer they own or have their eyes on.

If you use the OTT search function.. maybe search "BX25 weight" or something like that, maybe you'll find it here on OTT.

I think using the figures you and Ford both have, you're both in the ballpark...seems like about 2,400 or so for the BX25D, which is the predecessor.....

Also keep in mind the figures you are reading are the "dry" weights. That means no oil, fuel, coolant, hydrolic fluid, etc. mI was told by the dealer to go with a 4-6K lb rates trailer to tow my BX24 with both the backhoe and front bucket. You need to figure in for those extras. I added thr backhoe thumb, but you might have pallet forks, skid plates, winch, cab, valley mower, and so on. You might not think mi uch of all the little things like a single light, but when you add then up, they weigh enough to count sometimes.

Online spec sheet for BX23S says weight (with rops) 725 kg (1600 lbs). That would have to exclude the bh and fel, no? My B2650 tractor alone is 1786 lbs.

According to Messics, the LA 340 and LA344 are the same. They are labeled differently for warranty purposes, so specs should be the same.
Now that you mention that I remember that same thing from a messicks video on the Bx23s. Thanks!

2475 with both the loader and backhoe, includes the BH bucket and QA loader bucket, a couple gal of fuel, and all the oils. That's what kubota tells us the ship weight is, and they come preassembled, and knowing what I know of how they ship them, the only extra weight might be the little pieces of wood that they saran-wrap to the backhoe cylinder for shipping purposes. That might be 2 lbs.

This was one of the first things I checked out when I got my BX23S.
I got 1570 lbs for the tractor.
600 for the BH.
600 for the FEL including 48" pin on bucket!
