How cold & white is it where you at present.

21 degrees F here. 16 inches of snow. "Wintry mix" predicted today. I guess that means whatever happens. My guess is it means maybe freezing rain, maybe snow, maybe just cold or else you get what you get.

Forecast -3 tonight. 17 tomorrow.

I burn 5 tons of pellets/season.

My forecast is 6+ this season.

2 tons left in the garage. Not sure that's going to make it.

I think I've already posted this but I can't remember where.. The old folks, ( jees, I'm almost there myself), say, " You can tell how bad a winter is going to be by how high the hornets build thier nests". Well, they got it right this year. Within 3 miles of my house along the road are 2 nests in trees. One is about 40 feet high and another is in the TOP of the tree, 60 feet high. I hope that doesn't mean a flood or 30 feet of snow!!!!!

New Iberia Louisiana, raining heavy mixed with thunder and lightening. No ice warnings yet but if they are posted in the am I'll stay home. Back when I worked for a living it was come to work or don't get paid, plus the fact is the other guy didn't get relieved and go home. So he ended up working a 16 hour shift. Frank
