I added a relief valve from Surplus Center to the line feeding the base end of the thumb cylinder.
Then teed the relief line into the tank return at the loader valve to cover this.

I took a couple pictures of my cylinder at retracted and extended today.
Not a lot of clearance in there but it works. You definitely don't want longer than 10" stroke.

Last 2 are a measurement of from bushing to bushing as can't do pin. They are both 1.5 od bushings.
retracted is 18-7/8" extended is about 28-3/4".

Remember I altered the base pin hole location that is why it isn't 19 retracted.

Went back up and reread the thread and see where you measured your manual thumb and came up with 19 and 28.
Now that has me thinking maybe why I was hitting that BXpanded quick coupler.

Don't know but the removal of some gusset area is done and worked, ain't no going back now.

Thanks for those pics Bill. (y)

I am going to order that cylinder you suggested in a few minutes.

Then it's time to design and cut out a new SS coupler holder, and I think I have some thinner SS to make a new 'remote/3 pt lever cover". .....Hate looking at the rusty ones. 👏🤷‍♂️
