Got 2 tons of wood pellets bought and stored in the barn today, that should do me for the winter.

couldn't get to sleep, so it's now morning and I haven't made it to bed. Guess there will be a long nap this afternoon...
Wind took care of the leaves, most are off, except the oaks which cling on.
No trick or treaters at my house.

Our neighborhood has a rep for most houses giving out candy, good candy, and most people give out more than one piece, so every year we get more and more trick or treaters.
They now bus kids in big passenger vans from all over. Many don't even speak english.
I use one of those hand held tally counters to keep track, and this year we had 365 between 5:30pm and 8:15pm when we packed it in.
We, and several neighbors, are considering not handing out candy anymore.

I live in the country, we used to take our kids into town to the developments for trick or treat. But it was in town where they went to school. I would not want them bussed in, it should be for the neighbors.......

Couldn't sleep and was up all night, so hope i get a nap in soon...
