Gear oil leak through vent

Hi. I have a Land Pride FD2560 mower. And it seems that no matter where the oil level is inside the gearbox, the oil will leak out through the vent during operation. What’s causing this to happen?

I'm using 75w or 80w-90 in it now. Try going to an 85w-140?

I would.
If you can drain it all out see if there is any water in it.

I wonder if an item such as boltonhooks sells… their axle vents … I wonder if that might help ?
