Having fuel problems. losing RPM and stalling. I will need to replace filters for sure. My inquiry is when it comes to the fuel pump. 2017 BX25D has two fuel filters, one near the tank and one just before injector pump, the fuel pump is just after the fuel tank filter. While this was factory installed it has never been plugged in because there is no plug on the wiring harness to plug into. Is this common? Strange that they put the pump in but power supply. This is the first fuel trouble since new in 2017.

If it is a fuel pump it needs power to operate. If it's never had power it may very well be a primary filter and a secondary filter up further towards the IP. Maybe one of the "filters" you describer is actually a lift pump?

It is clearly a fuel pump but don't know why it was supplied on the machine without a plug on the harness to power it. Tractor is again running well with out. To be clear The tractor works very well. Just curious if it is a common thing to have the pump supplied without power provision.

wow, you're lucky..but BX23D is like my BX23S...
fuel tank--->filter--_>lift pump--->filter--->inj pump

I suspect that between gravity and injpump sucking ,there's just enough flow to get her started.
Also think the power wire is tucked up the the harness,maybe taped in and hidden ?

If you look a little left and up from brake pedal,you'll see the pump AND the wiring harness.

Is there a plug hanging from the harness or no wire coming off the lift pump? Could be the wire is on the top side of the pump under the pan
