My bx is having fuel issues. 2680 with 60" mower deck. While mowing the engine loses rpm almost to stall. Shut off mower it will correct but will still starve while operating. Changed filter and ran fine for a month but problem returned. So I am thinking the in line fuel sending unit or fuel pump. Only 184 hours on it tho. Any suggestions or insight?

If the 2680 is like my 23s, There are 2 fuel filters.
one at the engine and one under the tractor.

Pull the fuel infeed line off the injection pump and check for good flow.

Make sure you have the "ticking" sound during glow plugs key on!

I had a similar problem on my BX2370. I replaced the rear filter and it ran ok for a while and then it clogged again shortly after installing. There was some much gunk built up in the tank that it would continue to clog the rear filter. The tank had to be completely cleaned out. How dirty is the filter second filter you installed. If it as bad as the first one, the problem maybe in the tank.
