That was earlier last winter - mid-January maybe - and you're right a foot or so. The banks were 4-5 feet later on, with almost 3' all over. We got hammered this year, too, but not as bad as folks all around us.
That is actually my back yard - our Boxer dog doesn't do snow and cold well.![Stick out tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Our driveway is stone, so I do drop the shoes as low as possible until I get a good base, then raise them up to where I leave about .75" or so.
As you know, those piles from your plow truck can get pretty solid. If moving them around, you might want to consider loaded rear tires and chains on the back.
Just a suggestion.![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Best of luck with your new tractors - great machines!![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
