I came up with a cheap and easy axe mount but don't have a picture of it on my phone. I will snap one later today and post it.

Used a piece of pipe and smashed it in the vice until it was oval shaped and handle fits in nice a tight. Welded a bolt on the other end with a wing nut. If you mount it so the handle hangs down you might not need the bolt at the bottom. You could also weld a bolt on the pipe so you could bolt the pipe rather then weld it.
