Filter cross reference

Does this cross to any common filter?

I looked for 10 minutes on the Wix site and Baldwin site did not find anything.

Coleman equipment has OEM parts and the one you are looking in stock. Should you want to purchase OEM, price was about $38.00.

Usually Baldwin has many filters for most machines . But for those types of filters , just as easy to stock pile some from the dealer .

You get what you pay for. A cheap filter is just that. Cut it in half and a OEM Kubota filter and you will see the difference. If you wanted cheap filters, you should have bought a cheap tractor.

If a $6 filter is as good as a $38 filter, I guess a $2 filter is also in the running. Be aware that cross reference charts usually only show what filter will physically fit - there's no guarantee it will provide the same or better filtering performance than the OEM. Yes you are paying for the Kubota brand - at least some sort of assurance that the filter you buy will actually have the right performance for your tractor.

The Kubota spin-on filters are reasonably priced, IMO, and are a good value for their quality.
I use “cheap” filters on some equipment (such as my Sear lawn tractor with a B&S engine...the Sears or B&S filters are priced at $11-$16 and the SuperTech/Purolator/Motorcraft versions are all less than $4 at WalMart.).

I don’t think you’re going to save a bunch of money over the life of your tractor using aftermarket filters instead of the genuine Kubota products.

The hydraulic filters operate at very high pressures and a cheap aftermarket product in that location is not a good idea, IMO.

At least your not HST, right? I think you would be better off leaving an oem filter on past the maint. schedule than putting an alternative on there. I believe Baldwin or Donaldson may be the oem manufacturer for some of the Kubota filters if you feel so compelled. Heck search ebay with that oem number. I find some overstock every once and a while.

FYI - I researched this pretty hard and found no aftermarket filter alternative.
I discovered the local Kubota Dealer had one on the shelf for my 40 year old tractor for $37
