They have replaced my oil pan and the same leak is still present. It looks like its coming from the front engine cover Behind the frame. The only engine oil leaks I ever see on a B series are the engine oil pressure sender and the tach drive gasket. I service on average 1 or more a week.
It’s dry in that area. It looks like it’s from the front engine case gasket.Front crank seal maybe? Easy replacement.
Where are these located? The only engine oil leaks I ever see on a B series are the engine oil pressure sender and the tach drive gasket. I service on average 1 or more a week.
Tachometer drive is on the front of the engine, engine oil pressure sender is on the left front of the engine block.Where are these located?
my leak seems to be coming from the lower part of the front engine cover. I’ll try again to find the areas on the parts diagram you mentioned.Tachometer drive is on the front of the engine, engine oil pressure sender is on the left front of the engine block.
My LX2610 recently developed a leak in the same location. I'm going to look into the oil pressure sending unit that @whitetiger mentioned and if thats not it, get it in to have it repaired.
Ironically, after cleaning everything up last spring to identify the source, it stopped on its own. Going to continue to monitor, but at the moment, there is no leak to speak of.What did you find leaking?
