Like many, I've had more trouble sleeping than I used to. I've been looking into a bunch of different solutions.

Recently, I found information that suggested EMF impacts sleep. They suggested switching devices to airplane mode if you don't want to leave them in another room. First, I switched my iPhone to airplane mode, and now I've switched my iPad, too. It seems to be helping me sleep better. I have wifi-calling on my iPhone, so practically speaking I've lost no functionality as long as I remember to turn off airplane mode when I leave the house.

If you are interested, it's easy to find articles/documents that discuss the impact.

My phone goes into sleep mode at night and then comes out of the sleep mode when my alarm goes off. It only allows calls from those I have selected in my phone. I don't get an notices about emails or text during that time frame.

Makes it nice and quite at night.

I use copious amounts of this "sleep aide" product.

It has the added benefit of making you lose your phone in another room/outside, which has the added benefit of no EMF exposure and also gives you a "cognitive exercise” by forcing you to look for your phone every morning.

(I’m a “glass half full” kinda guy I guess ;) :p)

There is another way to stop the EMF from your phone. Get a Faraday case for it and put the phone in it for the night. There are numerous ones available cheap on Amazon. They give you the added function of securing your phone from snooping in areas where you may not want to be tracked. They are cheap and effective. In your case, it has the added benefit of you not forgetting to turn off the airplane mode because the Faraday bag blocks all signals even when the phone is in airplane mode.

My phone sits in my office unless I leave the house. All devices that can, are put to 'sleep' at 9 pm. No phone in the bedroom. The only EMF I experience is the electricity coursing through the wires in the walls (yes, I can hear 60 Hz.) and I'm used to constant hummmm Used to be weird during a blackout, the absolute silence. Now with a whole house, automatic genset, no more silence.

Thanks, I looked into those. However, they also disable the phone functionality while in the bag.

Apartment buildings and cities are the modern day gas chambers.
Slowly poisoning the people with all those EMFs.
Unplug your WiFi router at night.
Wife's headaches went away after we did.
We no longer have any WiFi routers.
Also cut power to your bedroom. The outlets and wires in the walls put out EMFs

Fyi, not all routers or settings are equal. It might be worth changing settings or buying a different router.

"Conclusions
In this research we have demonstrated the EM vulnerability of skin components such as sweat ducts (its coiled section and sweat glans, in particular) and dermal blood vessels, which are ignored by standard regulation approval methods of wireless devices. We conclude that wireless and remote EM devices and applications, such as cellular phones, laptops, autonomous vehicles, smart cities etc. Working in the 5G bands and planed to be work in 6G bands, are not being treated correctly in terms of EM affects they might generate on humans. In our study, we see the vulnerability of the sweat gland and the coiled section of the gland, possessing almost an EM filter component, which filters in 5G and 6G frequencies (3.5, 27, 77 and 300 GHz) into the blood stream.
Moreover, the peripheral area of the sweat gland also absorbs more electromagnetic energy (higher dosimetry) than its surrounding. 5G and 6G might pose unexpected risks to humans, due to the effect of energy dissipation to regulators, such as thermoreceptors or nociceptors, in the immediate vicinity of the sweat duct, with long- or short-term effects. We conclude that since human skin is a relatively complex organ, it cannot be treated as a homogeneous component when it interacts with millimeter waves and sub-THz frequencies."
