I bought a 5/16" plate from Titan about five years ago as a mount for my snow plow. Same low price and quick shipping. But it was 1/2" to tight. They offered a 20% discount if I would keep it. It was an easy fix. Cut off the top lip and rewelded it. It seems if you buy one there is a good chance it won't be right. The big problem is some people don't recognize the misfit as a problem and have an implement fall off on one side and bend up there loader or worse.

N.Y,
You guys got me wondering about my Vevor plate. Measures 16.09 from the inside of the v to the bottom bend. 16 to the bend center. Guess this is right.

Mount it on your loader. It is OK if there are no gaps between the loader mounting pads and the back of the plate, the bottom angle and the loader angle where the pins go through both pieces, and the face of the pins. Where the 3 black arrows are -

Looked at it a little this afternoon and it won't sit flat against the mounting pads. The bottom plate with the holes is hitting the loader arms and will require notching before I can evaluate where and how much to shim it. It's at least a 1/4" away where your top arrow is drawn. I marked where I need to notch it with a paint pen.

I can jack it up against the bottom bevel and pins but it sits further away from the pads at that point. When I let it down and push it back it won't sit flat and hits the loader arms underneath. I will take some pics before I pull it back off to grind on it.

That one should fit pretty close. The Vevor listing doesn't show THAT measurement so it's hard to say what you might end up with. They show an overall measurement of 18". Their reviews also tend to have comments on unrelated parts so you can't judge anything from them.

I took another pic of mine to send to the seller. I don't expect any compensation since I knew the measurements were off in the listing and the plate received matches those but you never know. I just grew tired of looking and got impatient so I ordered it anyway.

Best way and it will be exact… simple easy fix/modification. Shims are for doors on the house

Best way for me was to contact the company. They shipped a good one and paid to have the bad one shipped back 😁

I'm partly to blame on this one because it matched the advertised measurements. I knew they didn't match my loader and ordered it anyway. The seller offered a partial refund so I accepted that.

I'm not in a rush to make this work so I will get back to it someday. When I do I will follow up on how I fix it.

When I jack it up so the bottom contacts the bottom of the loader pads it is being held away from the pad faces by about an eighth inch because the bottom edge contacts the loader arms.

My plan is to start by cutting out the area where it contacts the loader arms. Probably remove a quarter inch or so. Then I will clamp it against the loader QA pads so the crease of the bottom bend match and the plate fits flush against the pads. Then I will measure the gaps to the pins and at the top. I will weld in material to make the pins fit tight with the bottom crease matched up then measure how much needs to be added to the top area.

Sounds involved but shouldn't be too much trouble.

I finally got around to fixing this plate. After measuring the Kubota loader QA and bucket and comparing to the eBay plate I found all the dimensions that were off were in the bottom bevel area. It was a half inch wider and further down than the bottom bevel on the loader bucket. Part of the extra width also made the holes too large.

It didn't span all the way across so I cut the two sections off the bottom, cut them down, and relocated them. I ended up setting it on the loader and clamping everything in place to tack it the pulled it back off to finish welding. Welding is not my first language but I get by.

I let my plate sit around for a while before test fitting so a return wasn't an option.
I cut off the top plate with a wafer wheel and welded it in the correct position. I removed about 3/4 in slop.
Good fit now.
I would agree, this was my best option. No extra material needed.

On this plate the extra width of the bottom was hitting the loader arms and holding the flat part away from the loader pads. In addition to that the pins would not make contact with the edge of the oversize holes. My only option was to cut off the bottom sections and fix it from that end.
