You're probably still not going to get the draft control to react with a light implement like a york rake or scraper blade. The implements simply aren't heavy enough and do not engage the ground adequately to cause the torsion pin to twist. It really takes something more like a mold-board plow or sub-soiler to make a draft control react.

I think you are right. It will take something heavy to make it twist. Maybe with a light back blade take the pin out.

I have a heavy Land Pride Quick hitch Cat. 2 and a John Deere MX 8 bush hog that is over 1800 lbs it does nothing right now. The dealer is coming to see AGAIN.

I'll tinker with the draft adjustment but it would seem right, something light, like a york rake, it doesn't pull hard enough unless its on soft sandy soils and sinking in deep. If you're trying to finish grade light soils, more responsive is helpful.
