The pivot on my left front axle developed a leak that looked really bad on the garage floor. I filled the front axle back up with some Super UDT fluid. It took perhaps a pint. After waiting for the required 10 minutes, and cleaning off some dirt that was stuck to the pivot, I cycled the steering wheel several times. I noted a very slight leak so I used the B3030 to fill up my pickup with wood chips. It took about 30 minutes.
I returned the tractor to the garage. I noted again, a very slight leak was still present.
Two days later however, the leak appears to have stopped. I was expecting another puddle of fluid on the garage floor, but it hasn't gotten any worse than it
was when I last parked it.
Is it possible that the super UDT fluid has some kind of self-sealing capabilities or is it just that I may have left the front tires in a position that seals the leak when the tractor isn't moving.
