Does the T6 Rotella 15W-40 meet Kubota warranty requirements on a L2501?
The info I've come across indicates it may not.
From the sevvice manual for a L2501:
EGR: Exhaust Gas Re-circulation • The CJ-4 engine oil is intended for DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) type engines, and cannot be used on this machine
Rotella T6 specs:
T6 15W-40 (CK-4) 550050467 550050466
SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVALS
Shell Rotella ® T6 15W-40
API, CK-4, CJ-4, ACEA E9, JASO DH-2, MA/MA 2; Caterpillar ECF-2,

According to Messicks the CJ-4 oil works on an L2501.

Partner, your post is confusing! You ask a question and then answer your own question and the question you ask was one you made up not asked by another poster.
Conflicting information? So whats the answer?
Rotella T6 oil meets CJ-4 specs.
Kubota service manual indicates CJ-4 oil can not be used on an L2501.
Messicks claims CJ-4 oil can be used on a L2501.

The other confounding factor is viscosity. Kubota manual says 10-30 or straight 30.
According to the L2501 manual 15W-40 is acceptable along with 10W-30
4. LUBRICANTS, Engine oil: Refer to next page. • Above 25 °C (77 °F) SAE30, 10W-30 or 15W-40 • −10 to 25 °C (14 to 77 °F) SAE20, 10W-30 or 15W-40 • Below −10 °C (14 °F) SAE10W-30

- Kubota has revised their original guidance to reflect changes in US fuel standards. CJ-4 is now allowed.
- Rotella T6 meets BOTH CJ-4 and CK-4 performance standards so it would have been fine under the original guidance.

just my experience with the previous model to yours, but I’ve been running T6 in my L for about 5 years and it still hasn’t grown an egr valve/cooler or a dpf yet
funny story about my truck tho, run rotella in it and my egr valve and cooler just fell off

With that in mind, it would seem the Rotella T6 would meet warranty requirements.
I would prefer to use the T6 Rotella full synthetic in my new, yet to be delivered, L2501 when it's time to change the oil but wouldn't want any possible warranty issues if I had some kind of problem down the road.
