Stole this idea. Should have made this a long time ago. No tools needed. Just use the pins from the deck wheels +2 additional pins. Only thing I may still do is tack the u bolts to the rod so they won’t rotate. You can only tighten them so tight and the casters plate wants to bend. One caster wants to rotate. Other than that, works great. Had the casters and stainless 1” pipe. Got 10’ of 1” rod for $20 and about $20 for the u-bolts.

After you tack the ubolts, put a second nut on each bolt end to tighten the caster to so it doesn't deform, So that you sandwich the plate between them.

The u bolts idea did not work as they would rotate. Had some stainless plate so I made 4 plates and tack welded them to the rods and bolted the casters to the plate.

Seems a lot of us have the same problem storing the mower deck.. Probably just a matter of time
before some one comes out with a dolly we can all buy to store the mower. I live where there is
a lot of snow and don't like the idea of storing any of my implements outside in the snow.

Very nice.

I have a similar problem with my brush hog. I'm gonna fab one up hopefully this summer.

My decks are small enough for a hand truck. Makes easy repairs to blades and bearings. Just lay it on top and stand it up.
