We have an older G1900-S that was just serviced by the dealer 18 months ago. It came back in great shape, started right up, ran nicely. It's since been in storage, out of service. We've decided to sell it but after charging the battery it is completely dead. No dash lights, nothing. Battery is topped off. We know the starting sequence and I also printed the steps to follow to be sure.
I checked the 3 fuses under the dash. They were good but badly corroded so I replaced them with new ones. Now I'm looking for the fusible link I keep reading about but cannot find. I checked everywhere near the starter (but not inside the dash) and can't find it. I am pretty sure I would recognize it. Suggestions on where to find it?
Also, I noticed that the parking brake lever is very stiff. It works but I have to use both hands to lock/unlock the brake. How do I gain access to that mechanism for inspection and lubrication?
Thanks guys
