I was in the bar with a friend, and we had had a few. A couple of old drunks across the bar caught my attention, so I turned to my friend, and with a nod in the drunks' direction, told him "That's us in another 10 years."

He said "That's a mirror, idiot."

Took my daughter to the first daddy/daughter dance a few years ago. That realization hits sometime in between, "It's nice of that little girl's grandpa to take her to the dance," and, "please tell me that's her grandpa..."
