Why is it that we get to choose from two people for President and 52 for Miss America?
Why is it that our children can't read the Bible in school but they can in prison?
Why is it that I have to swear on Bible in court but the 10 commandments aren't allowed to be displayed outside?
Why is it brain cells come and brain cells go but fat cells live forever

Some of the Fords/Lincoln’s have what they call global opening, if you hold the unlock button on the key fob for a few seconds it will roll the windows down and open the sunroof(if it has one) Have seen many come in over the years complaining that they come out to their vehicles and all the windows are open. First question is do you let the kids play with the car keys when you in the store/dr/etc…

Years ago we took our new honda accord to a friend's cottage and it was pouring rain. Wifey forgot something in the car so grabbed the key fob to let herself in by unlocking the doors from the cottage. She then said "honey, why are all the windows and sunroof open in the rain?" Turns out if you hold the door unlock button too long the car default settings opens all the windows and sunroof automatically. I didn't "appreciate" that feature.

I’m not sure on a Honda, but on Ford/Lincoln the feature can be turned off through the message center or infotainment screen if equipped or through dealer programming.

In an American court, you have the option to swear on any book or object you hold sacred (you may have to bring your own) or to swear without an object, or to not swear but instead affirm your oath.

Same for the Honda. I discovered that I needed to RTM!

1: No. We have primaries to reduce a large field down to a select few. Just like the beauty pageant.
2: No. It is separation of church and state ! A child CAN read the bible in school. The public schools can not teach a religion.
3: Why should I swear on a book for your religion ? It is not required. All I have to do is to affirm I will tell the truth.

As to speaking English and thanking a teacher. In my career I have worked with visa holders from all over the world. It was amazing how many of them were bilingual at a minimum and most spoke multiple languages. The Americans, well, most of us spoke just one.
