I am inspecting the oil pump on a D1105. The WSM does not list a specific torque for the pump cover screws, yet the inspection procedure entails checking the cover clearance with plasti-gauge, (1-3 thousands), so it may be important.

Does anyone have any input if the torque is other than standard?

Thanks

The clearance in this case does not have anything to do with cover torque, it has to do with component wear.
So a standard torque per bolt size is normal.

Thanks for the reply.

The attached pdf shows the inspection. I will use the standard torques.
