Does anyone have a source that sells CV Boots by size rather than application?
Or maybe a size chart from which I can select one and then cross reference what vehicle to specify at an auto parts store?
My problem is that I bought after market, oversize rear axle assemblies for the Rhino, and now I need a new boot. Company isn't around anymore, and no can sell me a boot unless I tell them want car it fits. How the f would I know that? I found a company that sells boots by size, and they have a perfect fit, but they are in Australia, want $19 for the boot, $25 for shipping, and 15-20 days delivery time.
The boot in question is slightly larger than most ATV boots, and slightly smaller than most car boots. I'm kinda stumped.

Boot is 69mm x 22.1mm x 99.6mm long or 2.717 x .873 x 3.920 long

Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, they're the company I found in Australia. Pricey and long lead time.

Try McMaster-Carr, they have CV Boots. If you don't see yours on line give them a call and they will find the one you need. Their pretty good at getting just what you need.

It appears I found the dealer I bought the axles from; he changed company names. HIs website lists OEM CV Boot Kits that DO NOT fit the high strength axles.
It also list CV Boot Kits for his high strength axles, that DO NOT fit OEM axles.
Sounds great! Except that the kit say it fits 1200 series axles, and mine are 1500 series axles. I am awaiting clarification now, but he doesn't allow phone calls, only e-mails, so communication is time consuming and cumbersome.
Sigh.

Lil Foot, years ago I had a Yamaha Big Bear 4x4 that needed boots. For me at the time the buying them from Yamaha was out of the question. I mechanic buddy told me to pop the shaft and take them to a front end shop in Jackson and maybe they could match a boot up. I walked in with the shafts and the guy told me they were out of a Subaru Brat and sold me all 4 boots for $12. Told me for another $30 he'd install them. The rest is history. Kinda wish I still had that ol big bear.

ehenry- Saturday I spoke to two different front end specialists and my regular mechanic. They all acted like I was crazy- they don't do ATVs, what car does it match, what number/manufacturer is it and we can order it, etc., etc.
So, years ago people were better at their jobs, now no one can work without a brand specific catalog and specific instructions.

The dealer I orginally bought them from did get back to me- he said the boot kit listed on his website does not fit my axles, but he would look to see if he can get some that do.
Still waiting.

Tughill Tom- McMaster Carr only lists 6 or 8 boots, called them and they said "Just what's in the catalog".

SUCCESS! (I think)
Dealer contacted me today and says the boot kit mentioned above does fit my axles.
(then why doesn't your website state that?)
Anyway, I placed order, fingers crossed.
Thanks for all your suggestions.

Opened the box today, and they are the correct boots, but look like they were stored in a dusty attic- clamps are there, but the (4) tubes of CV grease are absent. At this point, I think I will call it good, I have plenty of grease on hand.
