Simple solution, put a push botton start switch on the dash or out of the way place. One side to batt and other wire to starter solenoid. When it doesn't start, make sure all implement switches are off. Key on and press to start. Then you can get it to where you want it to ck out and fix. I'v used mine twice on my bx. Tractor Supply has the switches, it's rubber coated also.

Check all your battery connections especially the ground, intermittent grounds will do exactly what your talking about.
Pull the cables off at the ends clean both sides of the connections put a little lithium grease on the connection and tighten firmly.

It's happened to me only one time since. Rocking the peddle and jumping up and down in the seat seems to fix the problem. I look like an idiot jumping up and down in the seat and rocking the peddle like I am trying to kick start the tractor. I spoke to my dealer today and they told me that the next time the tractor comes in for service they will check it out.

The only way I would be happy to watch a video of you jumping up and down on your tractor would be if your name is Kate Upton or at least your attributes match hers!;)

I had this happen to mine a few times with under 60 hours. Dealer replace seat switch under warrantee but turned out to be the hst pedal linkage in need of lubrication. Pedal is very sensitive to position. I spray mine with WD40 every once in a while, no issues since. Hope this helps....

I had something similar happen with my B2920 this summer while digging in dusty sandy soil. Eventually found it was a sticking safety switch/rod on the HST.

This video gives a fairly good description of how the switch can stick. I regularly spray the rod with a lubricant now. Something thin so it doesn't bind in winter.
