That doesn't explain why you think that all that live in a socialist or any political state... means that they like it. And it doesn't mean that they are socialists, or fascists, etc.
Just because you or I may be white, or black, or brown, or yellow.... doesn't mean that we aren't socialist or Dem or Republican or anything.

Perhaps "condone it", or "accommodate it" would be softer ways of stating it.
If they do not agree with/support the Socialist mantra......they should leave, as many Californians are currently doing.
Some are stuck there. By children, or a good job, or spouse. We cannot assume. I was there longer than I wanted to be due to finances. But you sure as hell can't find better weather.

In Wisconsin the registration on my F250 is just less than $200 a year. In CA, it was over $600. Same percentage with all my vehicles. ATV,s trailers, etc. AND, the streets are Better maintained in Wisconsin. Even with the salt and county snowplows tearing it up.
Homeless in CA are everywhere. Breaking into your car and house, crapping, I mean literally taking a sh6t on your front lawn. In CA.
But where I live in Wisconsin. Zero. In Wisconsin it's deer and bear poop. But that's rare. They usually poop in the forest.
In Wisconsin I can buy a new gun and take it home on the same day. I can buy ammo without a huge background check and a license like required in CA.
In Wisconsin, people are just as cranky as in CA. No change there. Edit: Angry people are everywhere.
In Wisconsin, I need snow equipment. In CA, I need security equipment.
In Wisconsin, gas is way less expensive. Food prices are the basically the same. Unless you want an orange in January!
Car and truck prices are the same. But better deals can be had in CA because of the huge population.
Real estate... no mystery there.
I made a choice many many years ago. I do miss the CA weather tho. But nothing else from CA. Except for being able to get a taco at 3 AM.

CARB might not apply, but they all have to switch from heavy oil to low sulfer about 12-24hrs prior to arriving in port and/or use stack scrubbers. As with almost all emissions systems, it significantly lowers efficiency.
