It's a slow process Magicman when you are a 1 man crew for the most part.

Skeets you are correct but it doesn't matter, it gives me something to do and not get bored.

I understand, that plus it being remote from your home.

It took me 2 1/2 years to do mine and it was only 46 miles away.

It will take a bit longer for me mostly due to the covid lumber price hikes. I pretty much didn't do anything on it for 10 months at one point. Momma is on my butt to get it finished now lol.

I have a big framing lumber sawmilling job to do this month in Meadville.

A total of 40 Pine logs like these and all in the 22" - 26" top end category. This will save the customer a bundle of $$$.

That’s not funny Skeets lol

Yea that will save a ton of money. If I had somewhere out of the weather to dry them I could have done the same. I just cut them down and burn them in the campfire. Probably have 40 or so to eventually get out of my food plots. I cut and split 4-5 a year for campfire wood.

I had a similar setup going and found that storing the RV between trips was trickier than expected with all the snow and rain we get. What helped a ton was finding the best class c rv cover for all seasons to keep everything dry and clean without constant maintenance. It made a big difference in how much time I spent cleaning things up after the weather hit.

The camp is an ongoing project lol. Being a 1 man construction crew for the most part and living a little over 2 hrs from it takes time to make progress. All electrical and insulation is done and plumbing is 95% complete. Currently installing knotty pine on the walls in the bath and kitchen, goal is to get enough done to install cabinets and have a functional bathroom.

Levant0s I don't have a BX, I have a L4701. It has performed great for every task so far around the property.

Camp update….Slowly making progress as I can. Bathroom is mostly finished except for some trim and that water should be on soon. Installed the kitchen cabinets recently, countertop came in so when I get time I will cut out the sink opening, mount the countertop and install the sink. Have been putting the knotty pine on the walls also.
