My tractor sat outside a few months after it suddenly died and wouldn’t start. I knew it needed a fuel stop solenoid because it wouldn’t shut off unless I manually maneuvered to solenoid to off. Finally figured out it needed a new battery, so I replaced it with Kubota Interstate battery from a dealer. And, since Id have to wait at least two weeks for it to arrive, and pay a lot extra for shipping, for a Kubota fuel stop Solenoid (priced $135 - 175 plus shipping) I purchased one off Amazon for about $35 including shipping with Amazon Prime.
Great news - it started right up and engine sounded great. Sadly it stalls and then dies when pressing on the accelerator for forward and reverse.
I added fuel right after starting. Took almost five gallons, so while sitting outside in the hot sun I’m guessing most of the diesel fuel must have evaporated?
any guess as to why it’s stalling and a fix?
Thx
