Do you go by owners manual or WSM? WSM shows more things that have to be changed out like hydro fluid.
I'm not sure about the WSM, and the hydro fluid at 50 hours is debated. This is all up to the owner of course but if you want to spend the cash now.. it certainly doesn't hurt. There has been a few here that have found clumps or particles of silicone sealer from casings on their transmission strainers/screen.

In regards to owners vs workshop manuals. I would go with which ever has the newest print/revision date.

As far as changing fuel filters at 50 hours, what ever trips your trigger.

BUT when is the next time? 100 hours? LOL

I just changed the first filter on my BX (the one before the pump) a couple months ago. First time after 18 years and 1500 hours, maybe more, have to check. Yes it was pretty cruddy. I cut it open to check. Have to change the second filter soon. No problems with tractor operation, it is just a conscience thing…:ROFLMAO:

I only use genuine Kubota filters for everything.

Well - 1st I would buy some 5w-40 Rotella T6 oil for the engine - 3.5 qts
I would get a Kubota oil filter - HH150-32430

2nd - I would get 11 quarts there or about of S-UDT2 Kubota hydraulic oil - and a Kubota Hydraulic filter - HHK20-36990.

3rd - I would either place the above in the front axle if up north - or if in a southern climate, get 85w-90 synthetic gear oil for the front end.

4th I would pull the suction screen and clean it well after all oil is removed.

5th Clean the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

6th I would, while you are up under - replace BOTH fuel filters- 12581-43012 - and I would rearrange the fuel plumbing while there!!! I would install a 8mm/5/16 1/4 turn ball valve so the next time you change the filters ..... you will not take a bath it the fuel!

7th clean radiator screen and or clean radiator too
Hokie you are good at this stuff. Question I just changed oil on my BX 2670 4 qts of Kubotas finest. In my garage so I know it’s not leaking. I can not get oil to register on dipstick. BX 2670 has 2 oil filler points I used one on top. Thoughts.

Not Hokie, but have a BX - - did you use the fill hole on the valve cover? The one with the blue dot on my tractor?

Did you give it some time before you checked the oil? Takes a little while to get oil to the pan through the heads.

Did you run it for 15 seconds or so before you checked it?

I usually get about 3 gallons in my older BX. Engine is very similar.

Do run it a little. If it’s overfill, drain some out.
