I just bought a BX2370 and am trying to find a front mount snowblower. Is the BX5450 the only option, or will other brands work. I have searched the threads as well as googled, not having much luck, (could be I went to public schools and not too bright)

Most (probably all) front mount snowblowers are brand specific because there is no generic mounting system for the front of the tractor. The 3 point system on the back of the tractor provides a generic mounting system so most rear mount snowblowers will fit on any 3 point mount if sized properly for the tractor.

If its a standard "quick hitch", the same as a BX25, then you can probably use the BX2750D blower. It comes standard with a manual chute turner, the hydraulic turner is an option...

I guess the question is what are you looking for the the bx5450 doesn't do/have? You can also mount a bx5455 if your looking for a few more inches but the cost to inches ratio didn't make sense to me.

You can also add electric chute control very easily to either one which drops the total cost from "insane" to just "ridiculous".

I have a few videos of the 5450 on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/tcrote5516/videos?disable_polymer=1

Thank you all for the replies. I was just trying to find an inexpensive :) alternative to the bx5450 (Ya, I'm new here, now see that isn't going to happen) I think I will have to just get a front blade, I have neck and back problems so I do not think I could run a rear blower.

I have a bx2816 snowblower for my Bx23s I think it might work for you . I will check to make sure that's the right number on it .

I used a blower off a b7200 on a b8200. The models are similar but they're substantially different in size. Still, mounting system lined up, 2 bolts to pivot. I think the biggest hurdle is going to be the mounting of the driveshaft, not mounting the blower. There's about 4' of driveshaft that has to be securely mounted.
