BX23 12V plug questions

So I'm curious, how many of you use the 12V plug, and if so any tips on keeping things plugged into it? I have found that with the natural rumbles of a diesel tractor nothing I plug into the 12V adapter wants to stay plugged in. Whether it is a usb adapter to charge my phone, or a 12V plug on an LED light bar, they just shake themselves out of the socket.

I don't see any way to actually use the plug while the engine is running without some sort of retention capability.

So if you use the socket, how do you keep things plugged in?

My tractor don’t have an outlet but my zero turn does, have the same problem with nothing staying plugged in. Seems like it’s more of a selling feature then something useful. And no I didn’t buy zero turn just for the outlet lol. I did try to use it once though, just once lol

Do you have a BX23D or a BX23S... be very careful as the 2 will give you completely different answers! ;)

Maybe the outlet or plug is out of spec? On my BX2660 the plug for my ROPS safety strobes stayed connected fine for hours of snow removal a couple weeks ago...
