BX1880 Seat replacement

Hi All, new to the forum and have done lots of research and can't seem to find what I am looking for. Do any of you know if the BX1870-1 and BX1880 seat mounts are the same? Id like to upgrade me seat without crazy modification. KM has a few good ones but only list up until 1870-1. Guessing they haven't updated yet? I can't imagine from that generation to the next would be all that different. Its not like I'm trying to put a seat in from a 20 year old machine. Anyways any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

That's a good question! I want to install a KM (aftermarket) seat but their compatibility chart stops at the BX1870-1. So my hope was I could use the same mount, which it looks like I can. But as you mentioned I'm not sure how far back it goes.

I looked at that one when I realized you were seeking an aftermarket solution. That one goes all the way back to the BX1800. So, it would fit every model of the BX18xx series.

Both the BX1880 and BX2370 use the same slide rails and it appears there is where it mounts. The new seat should bolt right on, but:
I did notice that the seat you are looking at lists fitting both the BX2380 and BX2680, but not the BX1880.
You might want to call them and enquire about why, as there may be another reason it will not fit a BX1880.

Thank you. I did not call, but emailed. Got the standard response of its not listed it wont fit. But all the mounts are the same so who knows. I may just try it out and see how it goes.

Thanks, I was actually hoping there was a suspension kit that would retro fit my current kubota seat with arm rests.
$847 for a seat without arm rest is IMHO a lot of money.

Something happened wrong in that link. It was supposed to go to the air suspension seat but defaulted to the mechanical version. The air version is $1287.00
