BX 1800 Front rims

Can I put 10 inch rims 4 bolt patter from say A BX 2360 and fit on my BX 1800 front and use Versa turf tires as they only come in 10 rim size and not 8 inch. Thanks Mark

I researched my own post. Yes newer 10 inch rims will fit the front. I am going to Carlisle Versa Turf on all 4 . Mark

Folks smart in the mechanics of all things 4WD can tell you about the bad things that *MAY* happen if you change the tire diameter.

I just put BX 23 skid steer tires on my 1880. No issues. No grinding in 4 wheel drive so far. Gained about 1 1/2 inches in height. $550 from the dealer.

Did not ever mention that I am changing the tire " diameter" just the hole size.

It has been proven on these forums that tire diameters can vary within the same manufacturer and tread type from tire to tire. Make no assumptions that all tires are created equally. Check the diameters once the tires arrive before mounting. Then inflate equally and check the diameters once again. If there is a more than 1/4" variance, I would ask for another tire and send one back after the new one arrives.

I did, Carlisle turf 18- 8.50-8 to Carlisle Versa Turf 18-8.50-10 And the same for rear Carlisle turf 26-12-12 to Carlisle Versa Turf 26-12-12. All that is different is A "smaller hole" to A "bigger hole". ALL IS GOOD.

I have a BX1880 and found that the tires from my trailers will fit , the 4 hole 12'' wheels from the one trailer will fit the front ( but they need shims given the hub size in differen ) . the 15'' trailer tires will fit the rear of the tractor , nice to know if I ever needed a spare tire for the tractor

Golf cart tires also make a good spare to get you back to the garage.
