Bucket for Plowing Snow

Hey OTT - has anyone experienced with somehow mounted rear blade to bucket for snow plowing purposes? Or maybe even some way to stop windrows when using the front bucket to push snow?

BX25 with a rear blower - but, on smaller snows the lil tractor can push snow pretty good but a fair amount of cleanup needed for those damn windrows.

I chained mine on ONE time. It didn't work real well but you may have better luck.

I have a 5' clamp-on blade on the bucket and a 5' rear snowblower. I have a very long steep downhill gravel road. I plow downhill to one side of the road and then blow the windrow away going back up.
One more trip down with the blade angled clears the road. Sometimes I angle plow going back up the other side, but it depends on the snow depth.

I don't sweat the crumbs. Fabricate some end caps for the blade or get a small HLA snow pusher from Good Works Tractors for the FEL.

'windrows' are formed from excess snow when trying to push a 'huge' pile( well bigger than your bucket ),you're aking more than you should.
hard to avoid, unless you take 1/2 or 1/4 bucket's worth of snow,
easy to cleanup, move 99% of the snow,push, push,push, then zip push up the windrows ,one at a time.

you also can get windows snowblowing, same reason, same 'fixes'.

yes well said, its not the end of the world and isnt real hard to clean up. You know how it is, nearing winter and thinking of all things snow related

I plowed last year with the bucket. Worked fairly well but took extra passes for cleanup.

For this winter I am building something very similar to this to try. Our winters are really hit and miss. Some require a lot of snow removal and other almost none at all.

I will post some pics after I get it done. I just ordered some bolt on hooks for my bucket. The plan is to utilize those to secure it to the top of the bucket.

Lol. A buddy of mine made a snow pusher from one of those plastic banquet tables last winter and it worked great! He was so impressed that he bought an HLA pusher for this year's work.
