If you cant fully close that valve something is still wrong. You are deadheading the pump sonewhere and you do not want to use it like that. You will pay the price in $$$.

Lets try to verify the neutral circuit on your valve is properly connected. Remove the upper hose from the hydraulic block and put it in a clean bucket. Start the engine and you should get a steady flow of oil with no pump strsun or whine. Do not run the engine for more than 30 seconds.

Do you mean port A on the tractor?

Yes. With your changes that hose should now be connected to OUT on the Bradco valve.

Turn the directionsl valve fully in and run the test just long enough to check for flow and noise from the pump or relief valves. You do not need to operate any levers. There should be strong solid flow and NO NOISE.

After turning the valve as far as the instructions say, I got a strong flow with no noise out of the OUT port on the attachment. I put the OUT hose back on the A port. I started the tractor again and levered through the attachment. Everything worked but there was a little noise from the pump now and again in no specific position. I didn't try backing the directional valve off. Also, the 3 point and power steering no longer work.

Believe it or not we are making progress. We now have confirmed supply and return flow to the implement. Now why no tractor hydraulics???? Is that new or was it the case before this test?

Just to be clear you turned the directional valve all the way in (clockwise) and finger tight?
