Hey folks , like the title says I have BH77 on my l3301HSt , When the hoe is not being used you unhook the hoses from the hoe & Plug the hose into a coupler which is mounted to a bracket that comes with the BH77 kit & make a loop so the pressure has someplace to go . The upper 3 PT lift arm on the right side rub's on the hose as we use the 3 PT . Only one of my pics turned out so if you folks need a better pic let me know . Did I install the bracket wrong ? Anyone else have this issue ?
thanks

I noticed it with mine the first time I used the 3pt. If I didn't do anything it would have been caught by the upper arm pin going thru it's travel. I zip tie it back so far to the rops, pulling it tight. That just barely misses but thinking about taking a look at the bracket myself but haven't yet. I would be interested in what you and others do too.

I was having this problem as well, so I put together this angled adapter from parts I had laying around, and it clears just fine now:

That looks like a better idea than my zip tie. I was up last night for a while when I read animals45. I was thinking then maybe I'd look at the bracket on mine and see if it could be angled or shimmed. Now I am thinking maybe just a 22-1/2 deg street ell behind the original would be perfect. It is probably 1/4 or 3/8 npt.

This one is a 45 deg union with 3/8” MNPT. The zip ties are still a good idea to control the rotation of the poppets.

I have some stuff coming from surplus center tomorrow, wish I had a couple more fittings in there!

Redoing some hoses on my 8N that I added hydraulics to years ago. A fitting for the kubota would have gotten along with the 8N stuff as they get parked near each other in the garage!

I noticed some marks from occasional contact on my backhoe's connection hose; I tried to install a short piece of hydraulic hose protection wrap onto the hose but it's still making contact. The wrap seems to protect the hose (which is covered by a woven protection sleeve) somewhat. I had to use zip ties to 'hold' the protection wrap in place.

Additionally, I ensure that the lock nut is always secured and that neither the zerk fitting or the adjustment band of the adjustable link is in line with the hose.

Y’all just had to bring this up…. 🤦‍♂️😂🤦‍♂️

thankfully I still have the hose from the loader to the block so I can bypass it and get the mowing finished.

The important thing is you shook it off, rubbed some dirt on it, and got right back on the field. 😁

I like the 45 degree adapter idea . I was looking at that bracket & it must have more then one purpose , there's a second set of holes in it for something or maybe you were supposed to use the holes on top in the pic ? Cutting & replacing cable ties is getting old . I thought about mounting the bracket to the right side of the part it mounts to but there's that small L-shaped rod on the bottom that stops me from doing that unless I bring out het angle grinder .

I just ordered a couple of the 3/8 45 ells from surplus center. I have the backhoe off now so it is the time to do it. Looked in tractor supply today but they had nothing like the simple 3/8 45 ell.

I took a look at the bracket like you say and decided for me not a good method to cut the loop as that holds the other hose in position.

We shall see when I get the parts next week.

That loop on the bracket is for holding the hose ? If so I saw nothing about that in the install instructions
I'll read the manual again

I’m going off memory, and stealing ayak’s pic because it’s way cleaner then my tractor 🤣

the hose from the loader valve runs through that loop between the return coupler and the bracket (blue arrow)

Here is mine after I pulled it off when the hose busted today

seeing how I fared today, it may not be best to route it that way 😂

I skipped that step cause it wasn't labeled for the BH77 . Maybe the extra holes are for a tie-wrap to keep the hose from moving about ?
thanks

The BH4988 is the mounting kit for the L3901 (L3800) and L3301 (L3200), so that step is for your your tractor.

I got my fittings today. I put one ell on the female coupling and one on the male plug. it fits back a little better for my purposes. I put my 3pt hitch on and checked for clearance to the lift arms and the tilt cylinder I had made a while back. I added a piece to hold the hose out of the way. It goes in the BH77 pin hole. I made it out of a short piece of 1" pipe nipple which was just the right OD. I welded a 3/8 bolt to the piece of an angle bracket and the pipe around it. That way it doesn't stick out much on the that side. Then it holds in place with a shock absorber washer and a nut. I put a twist in the flat area to match the hose and no zip Ty now. I checked measurements to the backhoe and I think it is OK. I no sooner put the hitch on and quit for the day and I see BXpanded sent a notice of shipment for my quick change bucket conector so i will be checking it all for fit when that comes probably next week.
