Better than hauling buckets

Some of you might have seen where I used my BX2200 to tear apart my old camper.

We are planting trees and bushes around the property in areas without access to water. I saved the fresh water tank from the old camper and clamped a piece of hose to it. That way I can just haul it around to water stuff instead of carrying buckets.

Not really a "Tractor" project, except that I use the cargo tray on the back of the BX2200 to haul around the 35 gallon water tank. Version 2 will have the tank on a pallet with a 12v pump using a 3pt carry all......or at least that is what I am thinking.

I use a 25 gallon sprayer I bought from Rural King to do the same thing. I have mine in the back of my Side Kick. I just put a boom sprayer on it so I can spray weed and feed etc on my lawn.

Back in ancient times, my first "tractor" on the land in the high country was a Suzuki 125 quad (it was orange also) with a small dump trailer.
My AC guy was dumping a bunch of freon cans so I grabbed three.
I cut both ends off one, & one end off the other two, then welded them all together.
I added a gas tank filler neck & cap, a drain valve & hose, and some "feet".
Also painted it orange.
We used it on the quad for many years watering plants.

I love the automatic water dispensing feature, and do realize you had to get off the tractor once that afternoon to take the picture!

Nice! I have a 275 gallon water tote, but its over 2,000lbs filled with water and I just carry it in the back of my truck.

I use a 12v "ATV style" 35 gallon tank sprayer that I inherited from my dad in a similar fashion, utilized his truck hitch cargo hauler with a 3 pt 2" receiver hitch. The sprayer originally had 2 arms/3 spray nozzles to spray horizontally but I adapted it so I could spray at 2 different vertical levels for my corn or back to horizontal if needed. I could lift it high enough to spray corn at the 4' - 5' level. Typically only an acre or so of corn but way faster than walking with a backpack sprayer, especailly in late May/early June. I skipped a row between every 2 rows of corn so I would be able to spray both rows by changing direction given that the spray nozzle bracket was only on one side.

Also used it to haul water for irrigation needs and I can connect a hose/spray wand for spot treatment as needed.

Work smarter, not harder!!!

Sounds like it turned in to a pretty useful tool.
