I have a L4600 with a BH92 12' backhoe. I have a hydraulic line that rubbed and now needs replacing due to a leak. ALso the cloth sheath that goes through the bottom of the backhoe arm has a worn hole in it and needs replacing. Any advice, tips, or tricks you can offer?

In order to change the hoses on my boom cylinder, the only way I could get it out was by swinging the boom all the way to one side. Might be the same on yours. Mine is a different backhoe, a Kubota BL4690A.

Also, you don’t really want to get hoses that are any larger in diameter than what came out. Space is limited at the base of the boom.

I replaced all the hoses on my hoe, they're a nightmare. You can only get to some if you take the rest off, so as suggested, take pictures. I didn't, and my boom cylinder is backwards. I wasn't taking it all off again so I live with it because it's one of the inner sticks.

Use a paint stick to number both ends of the hose and tag each part that the hose comes off of with the same number. You shouldn't get confused if you tag everything..
